Accounting 301 - Coca-Cola is buying Costa Coffee for $5 billion

https://money.cnn.com/2018/08/31/investing/coca-cola-company-costa/index.html

I chose to review David Sakazaki's article post.  The article listed above, is about Coca-Cola buying out a European retail store chain, called "Costa Coffee."  The reason that Coke did this, and bout out the company for about $5 billion (U.S.), was that they basically are trying to expand their company and expand their profit margin in the beverage market.  The article states that with this purchase of Costa Coffee locations will bring Coke as a competitor for other big coffee companies, like Starbucks.  Costa Coffee currently has "4,000 stores across 32 countries." The decision still needs to be approved by shareholders and other management, until the deal is officially set.
